Welcome to the Nursery

In Nursery we ask if you could bring a healthy snack everyday. 

UPBEAT 

We have upbeat on a Friday. Your children will be exploring with musical instruments and dancing and singing. The children will be taught a range of musical skills in a fun and engaging way. 

Reading Book 

We will be giving the children a reading book on a Friday which is to be returned on a Monday. This will be a reading book for the grown up to read to the child/children.

This term our topic is called

'Our World' 

This term we will be learning to:

- Sing Nursery Rhymes

- Hold our pencils correctly

- Practice writing our name

- Recognising our name

- Counting up to 5 / 10 / 20

- Exploring 2D shapes

- To share with our friends

- Exploring ourselves and our families

-Identify how we feel and understand feelings of others

As well as these important things the children are giving the opportunity to tell us what they would like to learn. 

We would like to welcome our new friends to Nursery, we are looking forward to all the fun and learning we're going to do!
