Criw Cymraeg

Shwmae! Coreso i dudalen Criw Cymraeg. 

The Criw Cymraeg play a vital role in promoting the Welsh language and identity throughout the school.

Meetings are held and the Criw members discuss different ways to encourage pupils to use the Welsh language by developing incentives and competitions. Each week the Criw Cymraeg in each class chooses a 'Seren yr Wythnos' (star of the week) for someone who has stood out as using lots of Welsh around the school.

The primary focus for the Criw Cymraeg in 2023 - 2024 is to work towards achieving the Silver award for the Welsh Charter. This entails promoting the Welsh language to fellow pupils, members of staff and our school community. We were very pleased to earn our Bronze award in the summer of 2022.
