In Nursery we ask if you could bring a healthy snack everyday.
Reading Book
We will be giving the children a reading book on a Friday which is to be returned on a Monday. This will be a reading book for the grown up to read to the child/children.
This term our topic is called
'Summer Sensations'
This term we will be learning to:
- Hold our pencils correctly
- Practice writing our name
- Recognising our name
- Counting up to 5 / 10 / 20
- Beginning to read numbers up to 3/5/10.
- Exploring measurement - Long/ short, big / small
- Expressing our opinion
- How to look after our ocean.
- Recycling
- Investigating which materials are rough or smooth.
- Identifying animals which live in the ocean.
- Identifying what makes us happy / sad.
- To share with our friends
As well as these important things the children are giving the opportunity to tell us what they would like to learn.
We would like to welcome our new friends to Nursery, we are looking forward to all the fun and learning we're going to do!
