You could design a poster or leaflet, paint a picture, produce a PowerPoint, make a model, write a biography or even cook something related to the topic!
The topic is your choice – but you may be inspired by some of the following ideas: -
• Create a poster showing all the electrical symbols you know and what they mean. Make the poster bright and colourful by adding a border, title and pictures
• Research the person who invented the light bulb and create a fact file about him. This could be presented in any way you desire!
• Make a list of all the objects in your house that use electricity and explain what the electricity makes the object do
• Find out about the different ways power stations generate electricity
• Find out about building and designing eco houses. Design your own eco house and label it with its energy saving features and sustainable materials. Perhaps you could make a model of your house?
• Produce a poster or leaflet with interesting facts about electricity. Think about animals, our bodies and the weather!
• Make a poster or leaflet about how to save electricity
During this topic, learners will discover the history of Wales and why Welsh culture is of such importance.
We will have the opportunity to learn about how people lived during the War and what life was like. We will be covering topics such as: which countries were affected by the wars, rationing, evacuation.
