Monday - Outdoors/indoors

Kit - T-shirt, shorts/leggings or tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

Please remind your child to bring their kit.

Fruit Tuck Shop

         We provide a healthy fruit snack every breaktime, which costs 30p per day (£1.50 per week).

WATER BOTTLES: We want to continue to reduce the number of bottles we throw away so please encourage your child to bring a water bottle to school. Children can only bring water to school.

Summer - Blue Planet

During this topic, learners will explore everything about our beautiful planet! Learners will also learn about the things that aren't so good for our planet. We will be covering topics such as: Oceans around the world, Pollution, sea animals, food chains and life-cycles.

How can you help your child at home?

Listen to them read and encourage them to do plenty of independent reading.

Support them with practising their spelling.

Spring - Exploration and Discovery

During this topic, learners will learn about explorers from the past and present. They will also be given the opportunity to become an explorer themselves! We will be covering topics such as: The Body, Ancient Egypt, Pirates and Minibeasts.

Tymor yr Hydref - Autumn Term

This term our topic is "Globe Trotting". We will be exploring our local area, Wales and beyond. We will learn about different countries and experience different cultures.

We will develop our literacy and numeracy skills but also have lots of opportunities to take part in practical and problem-solving activities.

Ymarfer Corff - Our PE day is a Monday. Please make sure PE kit is brought to school every Monday or left in our cloakroom.

Tymor yr Haf - Summer Term

This term our topic is "Bright Sparks". We will be exploring and experimenting with light and electricity and finding out what makes someone a 'bright spark'.

Every week, we will also be doing PE, looking after our edible playground, reading together, celebrating Wellbeing Wednesdays, being creative, speaking lots of Welsh, and aiming to win the attendance cup!
