Shwmae! Croeso i dudalen Criw Cymraeg. 

The Criw Cymraeg play a vital role in promoting the Welsh language and identity throughout the school.

Meetings are held and the Criw members discuss different ways to encourage pupils to use the Welsh language by developing incentives and competitions. Each week the Criw Cymraeg in each class chooses a 'Seren yr Wythnos' (star of the week) for someone who has stood out as using lots of Welsh around the school. 

We are incredibly proud to have been awarded the Silver award for the Welsh Charter in 2024. This proves that children, staff and our school community value the Welsh language, and it is an important part of our school culture. Over the next year we will continue to promote the Welsh language in our school and community, and we have some exciting opportunities planned with other local schools to share our Welsh learning.
