This spring term, our learning will focus on exploring our Welsh heritage and how it has shaped our lives today. Learners will gain a deeper insight into past events that have had an impact and our current traditions also.
During the first half-term, children will study the history of coal and mining in Wales. They will also focus heavily on Cardiff and its history related to coal transportation.
As the term progresses, our learning will move on to heritage in Victorian times. Learners will focus on traditions in school and how life was viewed differently depending on your financial bracket.
